Vlaşca is a former county in southern Muntenia, Romania, located between Bucharest and the Danube, which is now mostly the county of Giurgiu. The county seat was Giurgiu.

Administrative organization

Administratively, Vlaşca County was divided into seven districts (plăşi):

  1. Plasa Câlniştea
  2. Plasa Călugăreni
  3. Plasa Dunărea
  4. Plasa Glavacioc
  5. Plasa Ghimpaţi
  6. Plasa Neajlov
  7. Plasa Siliştea
